I am hoping to get more pictures of this group in the weeks to come. There are 10-12, these were the only ones that gave me any chance at pictures. There are 4 more that will knock you socks off!
Wow they are going to be pretty nice next fall. The hunt never ends. We just do not get to kill year round!
Wow, WOW, and W-O-W!!!
Very nice! Thanks for the pics.
Great pics and great bulls!
I just got depressed again though after seeing those pics. I was hunting our late season here Saturday, snuck to around 75 yards of 4 big boys, 330 on up to about 380 class, when the darn wind switched. :banghead:
If you could herd that top bull up to the east face of the Bighorns, I would appreciate it.
ANYONE OF EM WOULD BE A DREAM COME TRUE.THANKS FOR THE PICS
Shedrock I know you have a camera on you when you hunt so get us some pics even if they are going away shots!
Jason, just let me know when you want me over there to go hunting next season.
Your photos are always impressive,thanks.
Nothing like seeing a good photo of a fine Bull Elk...
Cheers mate for the pics.

Bjorn - No need to GPS them now. They will have moved many mile by Sept.
Here is another look at the bigger one. Sorry about the quality of the pic's, these bulls were 150+ yards away.

It's never too early to be dreaming of elk! Thanks for the adreneline rush - just seeing pics like that makes my heart race!
Do you need a hunting buddy ?????? :wavey:

Dang it Elksong. I had said my elk days were over, and then you go and post this. BTW, where are you in CO., the place I hunted was not anywhere NEAR that flat! lol
Love the pics! Awesome bulls!
Looks like I need to ship some wolves down to you.
AW this country is a lot steeper than what the pics show, but this is wintering ground and not where they are in Sept.
Scott if you ship me some wolves make sure they are already tanned and ready for the wall! :saywhat:
Kicked my but for sure Elk. Going from 30' above sea level to STEEP 10,500+ worked me over pretty good. Lol
Found a couple more, So far I have seen more and bigger bulls than ever!

Elksong, I think it's simply amazing that these animals can make it from year to year.
The environment they live in and what they go through during the rut shows how tough these animals are. Great photos, thanks. Teaschner is a real comedian isn't he?

Jasonnnnnnn
Any other pic's of that bedded one. Left antler looks neat.
You should go after a Wolf to go with your Tatonka.
Had 100 head out by work Monday, did not see any branched antlered ones...probably moved south towards c-dale.
Merry Christmas my friend
Jason
You should stop right there. You are already going to be blamed for many lost hours of sleep......due to dreams of bull elks dancing in someone's head!!!!!
Wow. Great pics. Those are some awesome bulls.
:campfire: I want to hunt elk SO bad! One day I will do it. Thanks for sharing!
Those are the bulls dreams are made of, at least my dreams!!!! Great pics and someday I will hunt them with my stick!!!! My dream hunt!!!
Thanks for compliments guys! Butts2 - I have been trying to get a good picture of that dang bull for WEEKS! He stays in the thick stuff and I just get glimpses of him. This is the best picture I have of him to date. Hoping he will slip up and come out in the daylight one day....
Elksong, can you reccomend an otc unit near your stompin grounds for a fellow Coloradan?
