Lukas makes one of the best longbows in my opinion , narrow and fast limbs with no shock. I would love to see pics when you get it. Drew

Lukas makes as fine a bow as anyone. He is a great personality and a fine bowyer to deal with. PLEASE, post pics when you get your bow.

Uh, YEAH! Lukas makes some of the finest bows out there. I have a Saluki Ibex

Expect Speed, control, no hand shock, smooth, quiet, all the things a bow should be. Plus, craftsmanship to equal or exceed all others.

I have owned 4 salukis and still own two, although no grandeurs as I love the shorties.  Expect several things.

1) to fall in love with the craftsmanship

2)To fall in love with how it shoots

3) like many true loves do, expect to someday take all of it's attributes for granted and trade or sell it off

4) Expect to regret the decision made in #3 forever.

you're gonna love it brother.

I had a 66 incher with no glass.Except one lamination of glass in the core.Bamboo back and Ipe belly. It was very quiet and very  pleasant shooting. It will have about the same speed of most other mild R and D longbows.
