just wanting some info on how an aussie can go about putting in for a selfguided sheep and selfguided mt goat hunt?
what states? costs? can an non resident alien even put in for them?
would love to give it a crack.
any help with links to websites or whatever you know would be great.
You can apply in Montana though the odds are slim.It still can happen the first time.Deadline for applications is April 2.
Non-residents usually are only allotted 10% of the drawing so only units with 10 or more available tags (I believe),would be available for non-residents.Guides are not required.

Montana does have a few unlimted sheep area's not sure the hunting distrcits, the hunts are tough back-country hunts
In Colorado you apply for 3 years and get a preference point. Once you have 3 points you have a shot at drawing. You get a weighted point each year after that and it increases your odds of drawing although never guarantees it.
