Who shoots zwickey eskimos? How do they preform for you? What have you taken with them?
I love them. Easy to sharpen, hold up well, just don't thin the tips too much while sharpening. A fine needle point can bend over on you. I have used them to take deer and black bear here in Ontario.
I second Seeza, very easy to sharpen and easier to tuch up.I have taken most of my games with them:elk, bear, deer,mt. lion, wild boar.

I have used them with great results on deer and antelope.
Been using them for 25+ yrs. Easy to sharpen, good arrow flight, great heads. JoeM's picture speeks for itself for penetration. I've tried other heads but I always come back to Eskimo's
Have used them for more years, then I can count. Have taken deer, elk and black bear with them.
When I was in my teens, I used them along with Bear Razorheads.
Zwickey Eskimos have been and still are a great broadhead.
They work great

The only deer shoulder I shot THROUGH was with an Eskimo, and it lived to hunt again.
Great heads, there's a reason Zwickies have not only survived, but thrived since the 30's. :archer2:
Zwickey Broadheads at Braveheart Archery (http://www.braveheartarchery.us/new_page_5.htm)
one of my favorite broadheads, "sun never sets on a zwickey". Just like Seeza SAID.
Been shooting Eskimos for 20 years. Deadly effective on whitetails. Simple sturdy head. Easy to sharpen.
I just ordered my first set of wood arrows, six of which will be tipped with Eskimo heads. Any tips for sharpening them? I understand they will come dull with the milled edges that must be smoothed with a file before working them over with a stone, correct?
I pull mine thru a carbide sharpener, and they pass thru deer like a hot knife thru butter.
I use a 6" Grobet mill file to work over the factory grind and then finish up with a ceramic crock stick or an Accusharp. Either one makes them hair popping sharp.
30 deer, 2 antelope,
3 feathers,
My first experience with the Zwickey 2 blade was about 20 years ago. I shot a small buck that was feeding at about 10 yards through both lungs. The deer jumped, took a couple of steps and started searching for acorns again. He then raised his head, began to quiver and fell over, 15 yards from my stand. I have used 2 blade broadheads ever since.
