Gilmer in Portland is kind of unbeatable for selection.

I'll second Gilmer Woods in Oregon. Norm Johnson of Blacktail Bows made my cocobolo risers for my two Blacktail recurves purchased from Gilmer.

If you go to Gilmer's website...go to their "unique boards" section for your bow woods. Individual highly grained, unique pieces.

My recommendation is to talk to the bowyer first. often times the wood you purchase will not have a low enough moisture content to work with right away.

I've had to wait up to 90-120 days on some woods to dry out enough to use. always inquire about MC levels when purchasing wood for a bow riser. veneers are not as critical, and dry out quicker.

Gilmer's in Portland Oregon is excellent.

another is Eisenbrand.

I recently got the wood for my Hellfire from RoseWood Archery. I was very pleased with the help I received picking out the pieces I wanted.

Beautifle combo!  What  kind of woods did you use for the riser and limb. Veneers?
