I don't think I've seen this mentioned here but if it has, please dis-reguard my rambling. I am shooting Gold Tip 3555 carbon arrows, and as has been said many times, the nocks are not very good. I am using an Easton CB nock bushing CA glued in my shafts. This allows me to use the Easton G nocks which are a top of the line nock. You can use this set up for any 5/16" ID shaft. The CB nock bushings are about 10.00 a dozen and the G nocks are a little high but are well worth the money. You don't glue the nock so you can make adjustments also. This was the set up for most compound shooters until the pin nock came out. I have found this to be a great option, Don
The only thing is you can't use the add-on weights behind the insert with those bushings.I prefer Easton 3D Super nocks for my 5/16" carbons or aluminum with uni-bushings.The Easton 3D Super nocks have the largest and deepest throat of those types of push-in nocks I've found.I use G-bushings and G-nocks on my AD Trads and Trad Lites, great setup.
