I have been stressing a bit looking for a longbow for my 11 year old daughter who hit me up just a couple weeks ago that she wanted to shoot traditional. (She has a set of training wheels at the moment)
So I posted a tread in the classifieds but nothing really stood out. I contacted a couple other boyers and they could not guarantee delivery for Christmas. I even did the fleabay and Craigslist thing. No luck. So last week I am crusing the sponsors classifieds and found a couple of adds. Called each sponsor and both were wonderful but when I saw a picture of Dan Toelke's Tadpole I knew that was the one!
Called Dan up and had a wonderful conversation, sent funds the next day and today a large cardboard tube arrived in the mail! :bigsmyl:

What a beauty! Dan even tossed in an arrow for her to try, a tab and the beautiful bow sock! I am going to be counting down the days till Christmas. Nintendo, Apple and all those other shiney doo-dads got nothing on this! I can GUARANTEE I know what the first gift that gets a spin will be!!!!!!
27 days to go!!!
Am also thinking might have to give a grownup Toelke bow a spin myself in the near future. This little bow sure is purty!
Dan, thank you so much for helping a Dad out, going to be one happy little girl when she opens this!

Make sure ya have your camera ready when she opens that present, we wanna see pics!
She's gonna love it, that's a beauty!
I wouldn't expect anything less from Dan. I've never met him, but between emails and phone calls he has struck me as a salt-of-the-earth kinda guy.
Post up some pics of the kiddo shooting on Christmans morning. Congrats!
Great story. I'd have a very hard time waiting until 12/25! Anxious to hear a detailed follow-up after 12/25!
She is one blessed child to have you for a Dad and Dan for a bowyer.
Christmas morning will be fun around your house.
Nice job Dad :clapper:
Dan is a class act for sure and his bow's are superb. I'm sure Christmas morning will be very special :clapper:
Congratulations! She will love the bow. Dan is no doubt a class act and he always goes beyond what is expected. I just got a new Super D myself and I love that bow. Way to go dad and Dan thanks for helping again.
That's cool!!! She will love it!
God Bless ya Steve. Dang if you;re not hitting a homerun everytime you turn around! Gotta know she'll freak at this beaut! Great stuff!
1 day to go Buddy, I can't wait!!!! She has no idea either. Keeps asking me if she is getting a bow for Christmas. I keep telling her I think she should shoot a few at one of the local 3d shoots starting in January to see what she likes best. :o
Lucky girl. Thats a pretty bow.
Great Job Steve!! Wear your sunglasses, gonna be a bright smile in the mornin'!!! I can see some fun stump shoots for you in the very near future!! Wish her a Merry Christmas from all of us!
You are so right why geter a Nintendo when the Tadpole can shot her "nine or ten does". Oh well maybe I'll stick to shootin never was much of a comedian! Love to be a fly on the wall that morning.
