Hi Gang !
In June I sent a set of Firefly longbow limbs back to Jim@Firefly for making me a new riser of Osage.

Yes you should do that :archer:
They are awesome, lies good in the hand, smooth and a pleasure to shoot.
I`ve tested a lot of longbows and I`m always back to my Firefly`s after shooting others for a while.

Margly
Very nice congrates...........
Beautiful Bow..!
Merry Christmas to you Margly..!..
Yeah that is AWESOME!!
I have read quite a few comments about the Firefly TD longbows. Those that have them seem to really like them. I would love to handle and shoot one, but I'd probably want one after that.
One thing I noticed is that your riser looks more sleek or streamlined than the other Firefly TD LB risers I have seen. Did you have him make it any different than the standard risers he makes? Maybe it's just me, but from the pics I have seen of his stuff his risers look more like a recurve riser than yours does. Can't quite put my finger on it right now. Definitely a great looking bow and am looking forward to reading the field tests...
Thanks
Nalajr
real nice. I'd like to have one with osage veneers. I have talked to Jim about making one but havent pulled the trigger yet. That will be one pretty bow after a couple years of summer tanning.

Hi!
I asked Jim to make me a riser with a higher grip earlier, and was highly satisfied with that so I ordered the same grip for this riser to.
It seems that I can balance the bow better with this grip. ( same pressure point in the palm)
If you never have tried a Firefly I would recommend it!
But be aware they can make a heavy addiction (got 3 fireflys already)
