I have a new Hoyt Buffalo 60" 55#er right hand. I pull to 27"s and 53#s I am shooting Beman 500 MFX's cut to 30"s with a 75gn insert and 125gn points, total weight is 505gns. My ? is that I am trying to improve my form all while doing this I need a little cheaper arrow. Also what weight arrows are ya'll shooting out of a bow similar to this setup. I like the GT arrows but am open to any others.
If you want cheeper you should get easton aluminum arrows(dick @ $20.. a 6)as far as which one I dont know I shoot wood. Why cant you work on form with what you have?
For carbon GT trad blem 3555. Beman bow hunter 500's are also low cost options, but you will not get as much weight with them.
The reason I wanted a litttle cheaper arrow is I tend to loose them lol from time to time. What grain arrows would you shoot out of this bow.
Hey rezeen, pm Shawn Leonard. He has a wealth of information and may be able to help. I may do that myself! Good luck.
Mike
Thanks Mike
Your set-up sounds perfect. I am shooting 52# Borders at my 28.5" draw and shoot 500 spine cut to 29.5-29.75"s with 190 up front. It is nice to see someone working on their form and having an arrow that is perfect in my opinion. I PM'ed ya! Shawn
It sounds like those arrows are spot on for spine and weight. I would say just work on form with them as when you see an arrow fly badly you will know it was something you did wrong.
