Title: question for you hill shooters about a hill

the wild boar was a limited run,what were the woods used in the limbs and riser on this bow..

You can post this on the HHBug thread and get an answer, or you can go to  www.howardhilllongbowmen.com, (http://www.howardhilllongbowmen.com,)  or....you can pm Dick Whitman, he goes by Dick In Seattle. He runs the Hill Longbowmen site, and is an avid collector. Last resort you could email Craig Ekin, he builds the Hill bows now and is a sponsor. MUDD also would be a good source.

The Wild Boar run was begun in 2003 I believe.  Only 50 bows were produced.  

The Boar sports 5 limb laminations, 4 bamboo with an middle lam of Red Elm.  Black glass belly and back (glossy or satin).  Double tip overlays of wild boar tusk (of course) over Snakewood.  Verawood riser.  Smoked deerhide handle wrap.

The beavertail handle wrap is not original to the bow (but looks awesome) and this particular bow is the only Wild Boar that has the "razorback boar" silver inlay.
