I'm looking to buy a new Acadian tree stick but before I do I thought I would get some feedback from the people who have them. Let me know what think about them.
Thanks
Prettiest bows out there, I'm looking to do the same as you. I've heard alot of great feedback so far.
I don't have one but shot the heck out of them at a shoot I was at (personally owned bows) and i was very impressed. I was a big fan of that grip,,, good cast and very quiet like a selfbow!
the cast was so sweet with the 1-piece bow I shot a 480gr arrow and then a 720gr arrow and they where within 1" of each other at 20yd!
Get on BayouBucks.com and post this same question in the General Forum. Tim Mullins is the bowyer from Slidell, LA. Lot's of LA boys shoot his bows. I have a three piece Treestick. It is a beaut. I like the heft a three piece provides with some small amount of riser weight. Just me.
Post this question on Bayou Bucks and you may find one to buy also. Post a WTB on the classifieds.
I was at a hunt last year with people shooting many different type recurves, some very well known brands. We were practicing the afternoon before the hunt. Most had shot an end. When I shot they all stopped and stared and said at the same time, "Man that bow is quiet".
I also have a very quiet recurve that I shoot and tricked out, hushpuppies, bow hush, but my Treestick is much quieter. I put a skinny string on it (SBD)and use very little bow hush on the Treestick. Fast and Whisper quiet. The bow is 53#'s at 28".
And, like Tajue17 said they sling an arrow.

Don't own one but I've shot a Treestick and a Cajun Hunter. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I was in the market. Excellent bows by all standards, first things that stood out to me was nice grip and quiet and yes they are up there in the speed department also.
