Received the long awaited ACSCX friday, of course it rained saturday, got to play with her today. She is 62" 55@28, Bocate riser. The bow shoots very smooth and quick. Speed is close to my Das which moves an arrow out. At hunting weight the ACS 57@29 shoots the 600 gr (10.5 gpp) Axis 182 fps, the Das 55@29 (11 gpp) 185 fps. Not to shabby for a hybrid longbow. At 8 gpp the ACS shoots 204 and the Das 208.
While the Das feels more stable to shoot (ILF recurve limbs are built for stability, smoothness and speed) the ACS is still a very, very good shooter. Looking forward to putting a few arrows thru her. I did have to build up the strike plate quite a bit to handle the .400 deflection arrow for the 8 gpp. Will probably need the 340 or 300 axis for hunting weight. She shoots a pretty good group when properly tuned and I have a good moment, two fletched one bare shaft.

Katman, is this an A&H bow or one from O.L. directly?
OL doesn't sell the three piece. He does the one piece customs only.
Nice bow Katman. I like mine.
vermonster13, I have read that OL will do a 3-pc for the customer if he wants. Maybe just rumors...
He used to do the limbs for them. But now he's out of that last he told me.
Blackhawk, It is from A&H.
Thanks Vermonster, she is a real looker and shooter.I need to contact OL as I have a deposit with him for a custom 3 piece, order placed couple of years ago.
Just curious, what limbs do you have on your DAS? Also, what string silencers are you running?
I am calling A&H after seeing that beauty.
