Last season I broke my hand. Friday night I tore a tendon in my right elbow. Not a terrible tear but enough to have it swell up so that it cant straighten or bend too well. Feels like a hornet sting I guess. Climbing a tree is out.
ANYWAY, like last year I somehow gotta adapt. I started messing with some bows,(a GREAT excuse to own a bunch)....and lo and behold I have a Howatt that is 46# and guess what. Full draw! I only have three arrows matched to it, but I only need one, the others are for good luck.
Going to give it a shot this afternoon, cortisone shot has worn off its initial sting and pressure and I think I'm ready. Some shots most of the day leading up to this afternoon will tell me if I'm ready or not. :knothead: :knothead: :banghead: :banghead: :dunno:
Best of luck with it.
Now if all the creaks and pops don't alert the deer as you draw. :archer:
Good Luck!
Bisch
Always good to have some lighter bows around for an emergency. Good luck.
Take it easy, Loosing the ability to hunt for life is not worth the rest of one season. Good luck.
Good luck and don't push it to hard.
David:Best of luck and straight shooting :archer2:
Good luck. Hap
as others have said don't push it if it hurts to bad might want to stop
Good luck David!
I use this excuse for collecting bows,I say when I'll be old I be able to draw those 45#ers.
Good luck and dont over do it,when you re-injure a would it much worst than before.
I would only go with the advice of my physician.
Sorry to hear about the elbow David. Don't overdo it, but good luck the rest of the season.
I need to look at picking up a bow in the low 40's myself. I'm sure I'll be able to shoot light bows well before I'm able to use my regular bows around 50#. I'm still not sure just how busted-up I am inside from the accident.
Heal well. and fast!
Careful buddy be easy and check with your doc.
Give it Hell David !!
Be careful and good luck!!
Good Luck David! Take it easy ;)
I wont complain about my backache anymore...
:wavey: :campfire:
Go get em David!
