A Old (83 years old) Bowhunter friend of mine ...John Dawson gave me this side quiver the other day. He said he made it back in the early 60's! I think its aligator skin. The clips (8) are metal. The wood backing the clips looks like walnut!
John doesn't hunt anymore ...but still farms his land...Thanks so much Buddie !!!!

That is nice. Looks to be very well made. I wonder what stories it could tell.
What is the logo on the buckle?
CTT
John said it was his belt buckle.
He hunted PA and Ohio with his recurve! I got this buck in Oct this season with selfbow on John's farm. He was happy I did

Doc Nock..If you look real close ..you'll see that tractor was knapped out of a "huge" piece of chert. It took me 42 years to finish it and get it running... Yes its TRAD !!! Or should I say "PRIMITIVE GREEN" lol
That's good stuff right there. Awesome quiver, great buck, a dog, self bow, cherished friend, and a knapped tracter. Sounds like the essentials for the perfect Trad song!
