I am purchasing a combo : ILF riser 13 or 15 inches long with the new ACS " legend " limbs to go in Africa.
Anybody got some experience about these type of limbs ?
Thank you

I think it just depends what length of bow you feel comfortable shooting. I've got the long Legend limbs and they are great. I personally shoot a 17 inch riser but I just got a 15 inch I am anxious to try out.

I will expect a 62 inches bow .
What brace do you have on your bow actually ?

I have a set mounted on a DAS Elite riser, and is highly satisfied :D
They weigh in at ca 63@drawlength and delivers a 1020 gn arrow at 158 fps!(easton fmj 250 dangerous game with 100 gn insert + fieldpoint)
Supersmooth and silent!
No handshock.
Tested it out on 20 yards a Fita 60 face, 60 arrows and a total of 536 points!
Guess that this says something about the stability of the limbs and riser :)

On our risers the brace will be about 7 1/2 to 7 3/4 usually. Other risers depend on the amount of forward press in the grip. Maybe others will share their experiences with different risers.

Hello Paul
With a brace like that do you feel a lack of
speed or performance ??

I have 2 sets. I have them on a 13" Zipper riser. I think these limbs are fantastic. Very smooth, quiet and quick. I love mine. Mine are longs and they make a 58" bow on that riser. I have a 28 inch draw. They are smooth way past my draw. I bet you would be very happy with them.
