I don't see too many posts concerning Black Swan bows... Can any one relay their opinion of them?

I've owned one, very nice bow my friend like it more and made me an offer I couldn't
refuse,very forgiving and fast.
I have owned one, and liked it!
Smooth, fast and everything was OK but it went on to another Tradganger that wanted it more than I.
Just curious... Why would you trade a bow if it is supposed to be so great?
I have two, and love them both. One is a hybrid longbow and the other is the three piece Impala...

That's a good question sir!
I have about 20 bows on the racks and only a few "keepers" the rest is trade-able, sell-able and so on and so on... and if I think hard enough I guess the "keepers" is trade-able as well. :archer:
I traded for one, a one-piece hybrid. They are fast and pretty quiet. Problem was, when I left the bow strung the limb tips started to twist. Went kind of back to normal when I left it unstrung for a few days, but it kind of ruined my interest in the bow. Talked to the bowyer, and he said it was the material he used, or a design flaw he had since changed, or some such thing. Nothing he could do. I could send him the bow, but make sure to prepay postage, and he would take a look if he got a chance. Just left a bad taste in mouth. I know he didn't have to do anything because I wasn't the original owner, but he was just kind of dismissive. And he admitted the bow wasn't right in the first place.
But they are fast and quiet, and if you get one of the newer ones, everything should be fine.
I spent a couple of hours with Arvid in his Tucson shop today. His background is incredible...
i like th e look of the classic he has reintroduced. i had his black rose model back in the mid 90's and if it wasn't too heavy for me would still be shooting it now.
Ordered a 70@28 bow from them direct he said "he had a 65@28 in stock".
I said no I wanted the heavier one.
He told me no problem would be a couple months. 3 weeks later he calls and says he want s payment my bows ready. Thought it was odd but payment sent. Weeks later still no bow, called he said he was shipping it today, a week later still no bow. Called and said he just shipped it. Got it a few days later.
I strung the bow and pulled it, felt light. Put it on a scale and it was 65@28 not 70@28 called and still waiting for a return call and that was a couple years ago.
