Dang, I just bought Essential Encounters about 10 days too soon.  It was worth it.  Some of the best whitetail footage ever.

Thanks, Barry. I need to add your two latest books to my Christmas list. BTW, I have on my bookshelf a nicely bound copy of "Treestand Strategies - Volume II - Whitetail Secrets" written by the Wensel Brothers. I bought it at Bass Pro Shops several years ago. Is this book now out of print and therefore very rare and highly collectible? Just curious.  :)  Clint

Clint: That book was part of a volume/set by various authors put together and sold by Derrydale Press many years ago. Frankly, I almost forgot about it. I have no idea of the value. Thanks. BW

Barry, IMHO it's priceless! I'll never part with it. If you and Gene attend a nearby Deer Expo again, I'll bring it to get your autographs, if you don't mind. Clint

I think my wife ordered EE for me for Christmas. Since I already have more than one copy of Primal Dreams, I believe I'll give my free copy of PD to a friend.

Thanks Mike but I actually didn't hunt this year. Was dealing with a pinched nerve in my right arm for a couple months. I went down to SE Iowa with a camera though and had just as much fun. Caught some brief footage of a real bruiser on video. Learned I need to take a tripod, even with steady cam.  :knothead:

We have given out a bunch of Primal Dreams these past years for Christmas...great gift idea.  We just got three more.  Funny, sending them all the way to MT, just to be mailed right back to the midwest to relatives for Christmas!   Thanks for some great films and books guys!

Gene,
Just ordered EE plus my third flashlight.  First light was for me and the other two for my hunting buddies.  They make great gifts because they are just plain great.  Mine is 3 years old and I'm still on the first set of batteries.  How can that be??!!?  I can't wait to get EE.  You can be sure that it will be playing at our Christmas party in a couple of weeks. Thank you, Barry, Mike and all the brothers for all you do for the traditional bowhunting community.

Got my order here in Oz the other day ! Great stuff and a present I truly enjoy giving .

Just a note ... several years back I ordered a bunch of "The Best of Traditional Bowhunter " books form these guys ... Shipping the dz boooks here to Oz was going to be expensive due to weight but the lads looked after me and I , as expected , received a great product at the best shipping price I have encountered .
Great products that reflect the sport better than anything else out there and even better customer service .

Ps ... Essential Encounters is fantastic !

I know the special is over, but I just wanted to endorse the main beam flashlight again. Best Christmas present from my wife to date! I call it the magic flashlight because I can find anything with it. I use mine daily at work and in the field. With this regular use, I get about 6 months out of a set of batteries. Everyone who sees it in use for the first time says the same thing. "Wow!You're kidding me!" Now I understand that the manufacturer makes the same size flashlight in 315 lumens! Holy Cow!!!! They seem pricey, compared to other lights, but they are worth it!
