Recently there was a thread on Stability started by a bowyer that I very highly respect. I fear that my contributions to this thread may have caused the thread to get removed. It was a really good thread with some really good information. So I apologize for that. My Bsddddddddddddd and I mean it.
One other thing that I did was mention the names of several other bowyers. To each of them I apologize for using their names. I meant it in a good context and I greatly respect each of them. I certainly do not want any association I may have brought them to anything I have posted or said to effect their relationships with any of you or their businesses in any way. I implore you all to not take any dislike for anything I have said out on any of these bowyers who in no way deserve it. I will refrain in the future from mentioning any of them unless the thread speaks to them and then only in a specific and good manner.
Again, My sincere apologies to you all and God bless you all, Steve
It's all good Steve! :wavey:
Thanks Randy but its not all good to me. I feel just awful about this. At the time I thought I was staying in the bounds of forum. Going back and reading it tells me differently\\
God bless you all, Steve
I was following the thread, you can't dance by yourself-I did not think it was you.
I agree with Bjorn.
You took a lot of goading Steve- in this and the other thread you mention, before getting frustrated.
Joshua
Maybe gentlemen, Buttttttt I am old enough to know better and certainly should not have involved anyone else. When I wrote the statement , what does this have to do with the thread that Mr Morrison posted,. I should have just erased my answer. I dOn't have an excuse.
God bless you all, Steve
An apology is all that you can do and you have done that. Let time take care of the rest.
A wise man knows when to apologize and does so. Other wise men accept it and everyone moves on.
Steve, No problem here. Anymore when thing start going somewhere else, I just leave and let them run there course. There were others, as always, stirring the pot....
Bob
I agree with Bjorn and jhg!!!
Sent you a pm Steve. :archer2:
It's the stupid inter-web's fault! :)
Seriously, it happens to the best of us. I'm reminded that Jesus said "there is none good but one, that is, God." And He (Jesus) was perfect & was God!
That doesn't condone when we make mistakes (not saying you did, I was following the thread) but it sure makes it understandable when we don't measure up to the standard we are striving for.
I can appreciate you set your goals high and that is commenable. In this case there were too many things involved for you to bare sole responsibility.
So like I said ... stupid inter-web!
I'm sure it's genuine from your heart. If I made bows, I'd want your association. Good stuff Steve.
Sixby
Don't sweat it. This aint the CF.
I was following the thred also.It wasent you Sixby. It was the guy that everytime someone mentions limbs that dont come in a box from korea or china. He get's offended and starts slingin crap.Dont let it bother you. It's his problem not yours.Jim Preece
What Ragnarok Forge said!
From what I did understand about what you and the others was talking about, I thought you did quite well.
You make some beautiful looking bows and seem to know what you are talking about and conduct your self like a gentleman. Keep doing what you do best, build bows and discus them.
I read this thread with interest. But also, thought of the "Popular Mechanics" thread that was posted a time ago!
As bowyers, your creativity and excitement, is just! Truely understand! :goldtooth:
Had this ? been started on the Bowyers section, folks might be still typing, STABILITY.
Just my thoughts. Keep creating, please

Guys, Thanks. However I live by the Word. The word says this. If you don't throw logs on a fire it goes out. I am guilty of feeding the fire.
Again Thanks, God bless you all, Steve
I was following the discussion because , i wanted to learn..and i did. I appreciate you and Kirk discussing all facets of bow making in past posts. Look at it this way, you didnt start a "What is the fastest recurve thread" That is a receipe for disaster...LOL...
It is a shame that thread wandered off in an unintended direction. There was a lot of very interesting info in there for those of us who will never build a bow, but were interested purely from the shooter's and bow buyer's perspectives.
Thanks Sixby and Kirk, as well as all who participated in that thread and offered up their experience in the manner it was intended.
Don't fret or worry about it.
