John,

Thanks for the positive feedback. I have been way too slow getting some of the bows out due to some health issues in the family and a very busy work load at school, but I am pleased to say I am finally getting caught back up.

I have some photos of the bow, so I will upload them so people can see it. Thanks again for the opportunity to serve another Tradgang member...and friend.

I wish I had some better pictures...but here are the few photos I have of Sheila's bow. It is one of our  Keep It Simple - Hunter series longbows (http://keepitsimplearchery.webs.com/hunterseries.htm) , which is a pretty radical r/d bow. I don't have a profile picture of her bow, but I will post a photo of another bow with the same limb design below (but with a different combination of woods and a different grip design) so people can see the limb design.

The riser is purple heart and canary wood with 2 laminate strips of 1/8" black phenolic and one 1/16" tan phenolic (kind of yellowish in color) in between the two black strips. The limbs are red elm in the core and belly with a veneer of zebra on the back. The riser also has overlays of purple heart on the back and belly. Tip overlays are deer antler (from a deer John harvested) over purple heart and black phenolic.

I would like to note that the zebra veneer in this bow was milled out to 0.025" by KennyM (another Tradgang sponsor).

The design is the same limb profile as this bow...

John...Thanks again,

Lee
