After eating tag soup last year and seeing very few deer this season, I was starting to think I was a slob hunter.
I even over slept this morning and was off to a bad start. Got settled in, 20 minutes later I spotted 4 doe, 60 yards out.
They made there way with no bucks on their tale and I waited for a clean broadside shot and the first one that presented itself was this young doe.
Picked a spot with a 62# Robertson Stykbow, and the 500 beaman ics bownunter arrow, 100 grain brass insert, 160 grain zwickey delta broadhead flew true. A complete pass through and a 35 yard blood trail. Now I have one in the freezer and a buck tag in my pocket ready to be filled.
