Is there any risk of damage to a wood riser when removing a kwikee kwiver? I'm concerned that the pulling of the quiver out of the bracket would cause force that could damage the riser. I haven't used this type of quiver for many years, but I seem to remember that some of the brackets were a bit tighter and sometimes took a bit of force to get the quiver free. Just looking for options on a removable bow quiver for hunting, this type seems great since you can buy a bracket with a screw in the back to attach quiver to tree. Thanks for your help...Mike
Never had a problem....used them on a Black Widow, a Mikuta longbow, and several older Bears and now have the same set up on a River Runner by Chad Holms.
I've had one on my Rocky Mtn Recurve for over 20yrs,never had a problem
If your inserts are mounted properly I don't see a problem. A great versatile quiver. I use the tree screw in bracket like you mentioned when hunting from a stand. I also have a bracket that I can hang from my belt to use it as a side quiver with my longbows.
