Title: Boot Help
Post by: anw0625 on November 02, 2011, 01:47:00 PM
I am looking to purchase a new pair of boot and looking towards the Crispi Wild HTG or Kanada HTG.  What are your thoughts?  Also Please give me your other recommendations?  Thanks!

I wear Lacross rubber boots, good scent control, waterproff, easy to walk in. Don't know about those others.

Any Lacrosse boot is good quality and will last you, and Cabel@$ has some good boots as well. And you can wear them and if you dont like them the return policy is incredible.

i just bought a pair of redhead 16" ultra hunters side zip.  1200 gms of thinsulate.
had them in 30* temps with only a pair of wool socks and my feet stayed very warm.
also waterproof right to the top, tested that on a beaver pond crossing.
BPS has them for 189$ but they are on sale for 119$ till nov 23rd.
really happy with them so far.

I've heard good things about the Crispi boots but I have not worn them. Kinda hard to find.  I've been attached to Lowas (no insulation) for quite a while.

For treestand hunting and not much hiking I also use the Muck boots but they are a completely different breed than the Crispi boot.
