My daughter wanted to get her bo a bow for Christmas. We searched the local CL and she found this for a steal.

While searching I came across an advertised LH Wasp. I send emails and exchange phone calls and agree to drive the 45 miles. I got there and it was a RH bow. The guy says, "It fits the left hand." I put on a display of disappointment, which I truly was as I have been looking for a LH Wasp, and he dropped the price to well below 50% of his original price. It's 56" and 45 @ 28
Anyhoo, with two different transactions today Fred met John.
I took the Wasp out and shot it. It slings a 3555 with a full length shaft and 145gr tip rather sharply. Makes me think I may try to go amphibious on this bow shootin and huntin gig. I like the feel of the Wasp.
Two old bows that will likely see hunting days again next fall.

I have a Wasp I use for bowfishing/backup and it really shoots/hits with authority. They're great bows.
Those are some awesome finds Bud.
Congratulations!
God bless,Mudd
The green shelf blob is an old wool Army blanket piece sewn together and glued on. i haven't tried removing it yet. I hope it comes off OK.

I was wondering.
Nice looking bows!! I have a buddy that has a L/H Wasp I'll see if he will sell it!
2 solid hunters rescued in one day. Good stuff!
I worked on the Bear shelf this morning. Don't know what kind of glue he used to glue the wool on but it didn't want to come off. I lost a little sheen on the original finish.

It came with the old Kwikee suicide quiver and vintage camo limb covers; Also three 2018 vaned arrows with vintage 4 blade Satellite broadheads on each.

I just shot a group of five field points from the old Bear from the front porch this rainy morning.
I do believe I could go RH at close range with more practice. That opens up a whole other side of bow potentials.... :D
I love my wasp and my griz's. I had to choose one of my bows to give to my bro for his birthday on friday. I chose my lh wasp 47#. It was a tough decision but I felt the wasp was a great decision for a first trad bow. Excellent finds.
