Title: A perfect Robin Hood,Sorta
Post by: lpcjon2 on October 24, 2011, 05:58:00 PM
Well I just came in from a 15min shooting sesion and I had to share this. I shoot at a 2" post-it note paper clipped to a hay bale, and last week an arrow I was shooting got stuck and broke off about 10" from the point. I left it in the post-it and figured it would hold it up better.
Well today I shot three arrows and the third one may an odd sound, when I went to recover it this is what I found.

Needless to say it's not stuck anymore, And I love the way the Zwickey 4bld made a perfect 3 way split.I shot these at 20yrds. Thanks for looken.Tim

I always wondered how they made split bamboo for fishing rods.  Now I know!

Just a hair off. That 4-blade should have made a 4-way split. That pic makes me think I want to trade out my Zwickey 2-blades for 4. That's pretty impressive.

Looks to me that you just shot down "Myth Busters" who proved it could not be done.

Great shooting.

Send those pics to Mythbusters - they said it could not be done! Had a whole episode trying to recreate that.

I always did feel the reason The Mythical Myth Busters could not do it was because they were using sawed and turned dowels, not split..
