Been hunting hard without any luck so yesterday morning I got up early and headed to a new spot. As the sun peeked over the hill I heard some noise to my left. When I looked a family of raccoons paraded by. I thought to myself "It's gonna be another long morning in the stand". Around 8:30 a big group of coyotes let loose in the hollow below me. Not long after that I saw movement in the same direction that I had heard the coyotes. After a few minutes I realized I was seeing a DEER! (Haven't been seeing any) (http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k592/jet26photos/100_8301-1.jpg) The longer I watched her the more it looked like she was headed straight for me. I got ready for the shot. She would pass by at about 15 yds. When her head went behind a maple tree I drew back and everything fell into place.

Now back to the doe.As she cleared the maple I hit my anchor and picked a spot. The next thing I knew the arrow was away. After watching her go down I called upon my best trackers. And this is what they found. (http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k592/jet26photos/100_8304-1.jpg) (http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k592/jet26photos/100_8311-1.jpg) Tihs is were she ended up. (http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k592/jet26photos/100_8312-1.jpg) I just wanted to share my hunt and family outing. Here is a few more pics after i got her up the hill.
