Trail cam decides to have a glitch...in your yard....in hunting season. I now have 4 mock scrapes around my orchard.

Could have been one of these! You'll never know

The thing is we have not seen a buck all year and when one finally shows up the camera can't take it. I know when they show up on stand I am the one with the glitch...heart races, can't breath, shake sometimes, but I usually get the job done. My wife, Laura, has a stand in back of the field/orchard and she will be sitting there tonight.

Yeh Tom, that is funny. But now I AM CURIOUS!
(it's bad when you start to loose sleep over another Lady's buck)
Get him Laura!
CTT ;)

Use your imagination man! He's probably that elusive tirty point buck...

Chuck: I really want Laura to get him. I shot the biggest buck of my life in 1990 and probably will never top it in terms of antlers. It's Laura's turn to put one on the wall. If that buck gets within her range he's toast!
-
Bill, you'll just have to put him on the ground to get a good look. Or Laura will..of course. ;)
-
Vamint: I made sure the camera had a new card in it. Since the apples started to fall we have been getting more pics. But, the bottom line is to put him on the ground. Laura sat out tonight but nothing showed except a gray squirrel.

Sasquatch. He hit the reset button for you.

I have edited my post Bill. I hope she gets that buck good. Looks to be a nice one for sure.

Bucks got electronic countermeasure jamming technology!

Stumpkiller: Not only that, I am sure they are up on all the hunting regulations and they wear watches. They seem to show up all year long early, on time, stay a while and on the first day of the season they seem to vanish. Turkeys will do that, too, but I believe they have short term memory problems (smaller brains) and they get careless. Deer, not so much.
Actually, this pic sort of represents my hunting season so far. Things are almost coming together but it seems different than in years past.
