Gonna order some footed shafts and need to know roughly how much I can expect it to affect my spine.
My set up now is a 55# stinger my draw is 28" currently shooting douglas firs spined at 65-70# with 200 grains up front 29.5" to BOP.
How much stiffer spined arrow will I need for the same set up with footed shafts?

I don't think your gonna notice that much of a difference to worry about it.

Doubt you will notice any difference.

Kris I just did the same thing.  I normally shoot 60-65's out of my 55lb longbow with 145 STOS.  I called Ted Fry @ Raptor and went up to 65-70's Sitka Spruce tapered wenge footings and stayed with the 145 STOS  and those Jokers are scary accurate and have some major hitting authority.
You will be fine with 65-70's  with 200 up front should put you right at 605-615 total grains.

I'm shooting the 65-70's with this set up now and got right at 615 to 620 grains going on and they definetley hit hard. I just didn't know how adding the hard wood footing would affect anything.
I think I'll go with a 10lb increase in spine weight and just add a little weight up front if needed. Won't hurt to have a little more weight for sure. Should give me a little more foc and make for one heck of a setup.

I've used 1" and 1.5" footing on my carbons and did not notice a difference.  There was a post on here about testing the spine before and after footing a shaft and it only started to stiffen the spine at around 12" of footing.
