Set up a stand last night in a heavily used area. Although we thought it was well concealed, it didn't take long for two does to bust me at first light, so when the next doe came in, I sloowwllyy stood up, and even then, she noticed the movement, but stuck around a few seconds too many. Then, the bottom limb of my bow whacked the floor of the stand on the shot, so instead of a perfect double lung, I watched as the arrow passed through in the hams, but the spurting blood told me that I luckily had caught the femoral artery. A wild run ended in less than 100 yards. Now I can concentrate on a nice buck!

I'm already plotting my revenge on elk for the 2012 season. I'm bound to find a dumb one sometime.
