Well....
I had mentioned a while ago that I had never been impressed with the sharpeness of a blade.
And I have NEVER once felt what hair popping sharp actually felt like.
Ron from KME saw me mention this on one of the threads and sent me a 150 gr. Tusker to demonstrate how sharp these blades really get...
Wow.
I didn't have to use any pressure at all and the broadhead was popping the hair off of my arm. 2 seconds later and I have a 4 inch by 1 inch bald section of arm.
I am asking my wife for one for my birthday along with 2 more strings from Pierre @ SBD.
Some great sponsors here.
Yes Sir it took me awhile to get the hang of it but you are right WOW!!!
The only thing I regret in life, is waiting so long to buy a KME knife sharpener. They are simply amazing.
As the founding father and past president of "Can't sharpen Shix International" I can say that Ron's tutoring over time and his BH sharpener have turned the tide!
Danged tuskers once KME sharpened, dont need much more'n a touch up...even after running thru a buck!
Can't wait for mine to come in- hopefully this weekend so I can try it put
I'm a convert!!

The KME knife sharpener got my Grizzly's sharper than any other method...PR
I was going to purchase a KME at the BBTC, last Spring, but they had to cancel last minute. Any suggestions pn who to purchase, one from?

Call Ron at KME (sponsor on here) and order. It will be at your door lickity split!
Or use the website order process!
The KME must be a great system with all the positive reviews here.
I have to confess that I bought the knife sharpener, and am not able to get my Muzzy Phantoms sharp.
Is the broadhead sharpener a better way to go?
Both sharpeners work on bhs.
If, like me, you have trouble, you're doing something 'not quite right'.
Call Ron with it in front of you and he'll help you out.
Many threads here in archives, but if you coat the bevel with a black marker, then start in on it with the coarsest stone on the knife sharpener, you'll see where you're touching.
You need to adjust the angle till it's on the front 1/3 of the bevel to the edge!
Next, DO NOT quit with the coarse stone till it is nearly shaving sharp! I repeat! Well, you can re-read that! :)
I didn't... hour later, still not sharp! Doh.
Must get it SHARP and a tiny wire raised on the opposite side... then repeat...
When it will shave hair roughly with the coarse, THEN and ONLY THEN do you move to the medium and finer stones!
Hope that helps. Watch is videos on line at his site.
Thanks Doc
Got mine back in the Summer and although it took me a while to refine my technique, with alot of patience and practice my Aztec Tusker Solid 2 Blade for Strength and Penetration Silent flight No vent cut-outs Broadheads (scare me). They are SHARP..................♠ Nuf Said.
