This is my first post on Tradgang and I wanted to introduce myself. I have been bowhunting for 21 years this season and have killed deer with both compound and recurve bows switching back and forth over those years. This year I bought a Black Widow longbow and there has been no going back. I can't put this bow down, I shoot every day until dark outside and I even set up a 15 yard indoor range from the kitchen to the room addition on the back of the house. The wife wasn't real crazy about it but she'll get over it. ;) I used her treadmill for an emergency back stop just in case I miss(not that I would) but just in case. I am so addicted to the longbow I have sold my compound bow and my recurve and I am going to try to kill my first deer or fall turkey with the longbow this year. Even if I don't I am gonna have a lot of fun trying. Well that is enough rambling for now, I look forward to learning and sharing with everyone here.
Welcome. Great place to get serious about stick and string.
Welcome my Trad brother!!! Sit back and enjoy yourself here, it's pretty laid back. I have been here for a few years now and still learn something every time I get on this forum, love this place. So where are you at in Indiana?
Don't know if we can help you.
You are already infected.
Welcome, sit down and share the passion.
Welcome and happy to see you chose a longbow. :campfire:
Howdy :wavey: Glad to have you. Sure is a wealth of knowledge and fine folks for you here...
