Woke up this morning and couldn't lift my right arm. Had to scoop ice cream for about 100 kids on saturday night and I think I may have pulled something. Cleaned the bark off some staves last night and that may have agravated something. Havn't tried to pull my bow yet, will do that tonight. I'm hoping that will be one of the movements that doesn't hurt. Here's hoping.
I'd give it a couple days. Rest, ice and ibuprofen should get you back in the game. If not, try a chiropractor. My right shoulder slips out of place sometimes and my chiropractor puts me back in shape pretty well.
Good luck, hope it works out for you.
Yeah what 30coupe said
I hope so. Archery only seaason ends here pretty soon and then it is buck only general seaason. Lots of does but not many bucks.
Good Luck Tony.
Think of all those happy Kids.
We are pulling for you!
It sounds to me like you have inflamed it and you need to calm it down.
Ice it for 15 minutes at a time about 4 to 6 times a day. And take some Motrin -- as much as the package directions allow -- for a few days. If it isn't feeling better in 3 or 4 days, at least you have already done the first round of what a doctor would tell you to do and you can tell your doctor that it is time to move on to something more powerful.
Good luck with it.
rest it and take it slow. good luck.
Tried the bow tonight and it hurt to pull it back. Looks like I have to take some time off and try to get this right.
Don't mess around with your shoulder. Get some professional advice. Once you wreck it you can't get it back. I learned that the hard way
Hope you have a speedy recovery
All the best my friend.
Thanks guys, I appreciate the thoughts. I am icing it and hoping to salvage some of the season. I mayhave to think about serious coyote hunting or chasing grouse.
SI hope you recover quickly Tony. I would get it looked at, and go from there. I hope you get into the woods soon. And remembee, the southern zone is here and I know some of the local state land. :)
You never know what it is until you go to a decent doctor and find out, could be anything. Hang in there!
Get the shoulder checked. Don't take any chance on permanent injury. Good Luck.
