My good friend Ed Scott has been giving a class on sheep horn bow building to my Texas Hunting Buddy Carl Peterson.
The bow is 50 1/2'' nock to nock and is 52@ 26
Carl said that it is a screamer. I can't wait to shoot it.

No body can make em like Ed
...sweet
That is incredible! I absolutely love that bow!
Would you happen to know what kind of sheep horn that is?
Travis
I have a lot of respect for that man.He is one of a kind.
Bill
This one is a ramboulette. The stave that we built up is big horn.
He's a dandy Bill, I have learned a lot from him over the years. We are planning a week or two this spring early summer out at his place to build and finish bows together and test and compare ideas and methods.
Mike
Man, like I really needed to see this.
AHHH to be a fly on the wall in that shop!
The gemsbock horn bows are my favorite of Ed's bows.
Bill
Bill, I have built the gemsbock horn bows with Ed and they are pretty and shoot great but these sheep horn bows will leave them in the dust. They are very fast. My favorite of Ed's are his juniper and sinew hunting style bow.
Mike
Are the sheep horn bows as sweet after the shot as the gemsbock bows? Those sheep horn bows are gorgous.
Wow! Beautiful bow! :notworthy:
They're pretty dead in the hand after shooting.
I really admire my Owl bow. He is a master. That horn bow looks special too.
Turly in a class by themselves!
Now thats realy cool.
Now I really like that!!
That's Cool !!
One day I would love to take his class. Very nice bow.
a true bowyer,no glass!
Okay, I'm an idiot at replying to these things. Wife had to straighten me out. It's rambouilett horn bow for the one pictured. It's real quiet in the hand after the shot.
Stave that was built in Ed's shop was big horn at the same length, but different design.
I have a Gemsbock horn bow from Ed and it is amazing. You also can not find a man with more class.
That bow is NOTHING but cool!!!
i have a sinew backed hunting bow of Eds that shoots awesome but can use refinishing that I would sell at a good price if anyone interested . That would help me pay for my new Owl when it comes in .
Ed Scott is a top notch bowyer and a really nice man to deal with

Mike, I am pretty excited, Ed is making me a 63 inch sinew backed Juniper hunter bow that should be done in about 2 months. I am pretty jacked about it!! Ed is such an interesting guy to talk to, I wish he did not live so far away from Wisconsin.
Bob.
You will like it Bob, thet are great shooters and very quite.
Mike
WOW! :notworthy:
Mike is this bow sheep horn and sinew only or it there a wood core also?
Shooting that would be a real treat.
Pat,
The bow is horn and sinew only.
Mike
WOW! I gotta learn how to build one of those!
That is beyond cool.
Matt
They are for sure cool and are alot smoother drawing and very much more quiet that any glass bow Ive shot or seen .
