Stopped by Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear with a couple of buddies on the way to scout an area for Mule deer because I needed some stumpers to play around with and couldn't find my Judo tipped ones after my last hunting trip. :knothead:
Luckily they had 3 flu-flus made up that were just fine for my set-up. Good thing I had those and my small game license. :)
Some scenery from the unit we checked out..

Wish we had stuff like that around here. That is neat country and those are pretty birds.
NICE :saywhat:
What seasonings will you be using on that bird?
Plaigh, I will be using some butter, garlic and sage... :)
I suggest using a touch of Accent also, It gives a wonderful taste ;)
Awesome! Grouse with a trad bow! :notworthy:
Be-u-ti-ful country there!
Dinner!!
Mmmmmm, that looks good! Good shooting
I like what you did with your quiver...Very nice post sir!
Thanks guys, I actually thumped it in the neck from around 25 yards in front of my 2 gun hunting buddies. They were both very impressed and talked about picking up the bow for next years big game seasons. I think I can help 'em out with that... ;) :campfire:
