I shoot a 59#@28 RER recurve.I would like to buy some Goldtip "blems" but have not shot these shafts before.Plus I really want to get my arrow weight up to the 600gr.range.Can anyone tell me the what shaft to get and the best way to get the finished arrow to the desired weight.
I draw 28".
Thanks,

GT 55/75'S, PROBABLY 50 GR (ASSUMING UR ARROWS ARE AROUND 29" AND YOU'RE PULLIN 28), POINT AROUND 125 GR, AND SOME 5 GPI TUBES FROM 3 RIVERS. SHOULD BALLPARK YA ROUND 600 GR. TUNE FOR YOUR SETUP, BUT THAT OUGHT TO GET YA CLOSE.

Ram, sorry to disagree with above, but you need to be at least 29"s and a 100 grain brass insert and 125-250 grain point for 225-250 upfront. You will still be a tad short of 600. I shoot a 63# Kwyk Styk and a 29.5" GT 55/75 with 225 up front and that flies great. I would guess you will need a tad more up front, ya may go to 300 grains up front and get your 600 grains. Shawn
