Title: question about adjustable spine point
Post by: jhg on October 06, 2011, 11:32:00 PM
I am going to experiment with some rests. Instead of a full on Berger Button, why can't I use a padded screw that is not spring loaded? (and why is a Berger Button spring loaded?)
I don't really want to through mount an adjustable spine point system to my bow, but I could learn to love a system that is on the window side only.

Thanks

Joshua

The Berger button acts like a shock absorber on your car. It helps when you get a sloppy release. A fixed or rigid side plate may be fine but doesn't give you the "forgiveness" of the spring loaded plunger.
