I just got a shipment from David aka Snag, at Wilderness Custom Arrows, these are a work of Art, and shoot like a dream...
Thank you for another fantastic sponsor here at the GANG.....
Fantastic arrows....
Ol' Snag sure does make a nice arrow!
Eric
He makes a fine arrow for sure
Glad they are working for you Mitch. Hard to beat those good ol' Surewood Shafts. Sure makes building arrows fun. Thanks for the order.
snag can you make 5/16" 40-45 & 45-50
Love to see a picture of them. Nothing better than beautiful arrows except beautiful bows.
I'd love to see pics as well.
I intend to give Wilderness arrows a try. Looking forward to ordering a dozen soon.
Tajue17 I'll check and see if 5/16" are available...don't think so though.
It would be an honor and a privilege to make you some arrows Rooselk.
I was in a hurry to get Gator's arrows out to him and forgot to take a picture of them. Maybe he can post one.
This is the thread that needs pics the mostest!! :archer2:
Bjorn,
I agree, especially them cream/almond colored crest arrows.

What can you say...they don't get any nicer looking than that! A lot of craftsmanship has gone into building those.

Wow! Sweet arrows right there. :clapper:
David,
THANK YOU
Those are awesome looking. Thanks for the pics.
snag let me know what you can do,, these would be for a 45# selfbow that I already know shoots a 5/16 test arrow I tried.. might be able to re-tune a 40/45 11/32 for that bow but that may fly way too slow out of that bow to even bother hunting with.
Will do Tajue17. I'll be in contact. Thanks, David
Thanks for posting the pics. Those are some real beauties.
Finally had some time to run a few of those Arrows through my Treadway Longbow....
They fly fantastic..... I'll be getting an order in again...
Thanks to David, "I'm Carbonless"..... ;)
:bigsmyl:
Order in....
Thanks Gator1, glad they are flying good for you.
I'll pass along to the Surewood boys that another one goes "carbonless" due to the excellence of Surewood Shafts!
Can't wait to test drive some!!
I'm kinda' glad my son does not hang out on the site very much or he would find out that Snag makes beautiful arrows, and worse that I am getting him a doz as a gift! LOL :archer:
almost to pretty to shoot
I prefer shooting the pretty ones.
I have 2 dozen from David and both sets are great. He can make them to match your bow. And they do shoot. I have 4 fletch on mine, first time with that and it's going to be the way of it from now on.
I believe Snag is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. Way to go with the new business,David.
The pics looked so SWEEEEET,I just had to put in a order for a doz.Cant wait to try them. THANKS Snag :archer2:
Me and my family thank you for your orders guys. I really do feel it is a privilege and an honor to be able build these for you. I will make them as if they were for myself!
For the first message back to me, starting Nov.15th, with a picture of a deer, elk, havelina, hog, or other big game kill made with one of my arrows I will make a FREE dozen custom arrows for that person. Good hunting!
That's good on you David
Wow! Outstanding Arrows Mitchell! Hey Snag did Santa Claus call you about me yet???? :clapper:
I can testify to the quality of Davids' arrows.
I love mine!
God bless,Mudd
Ol'e bent pole, has been talking woodies so long, and I mean shafts, "he's that close to retirement"

Talk about quiet... WOW, finish fantastic.
:archer:
Starting to get caught up a bit. Thanks guys for the response. I even got an order from a guy who doesn't even have a computer....? I guess he heard about me from a friend. So far shipments are heading to the Yukon, Nova Scotia, Alabama and over to the "left coast". Love to eventually see some animals that have been shot with one of my creations. That would be pretty cool!
As time allows I have been doing some experimenting...I'll keep you posted as to the results coming from my laboratory.
As for the Yukon, a pics of harvested animal with my WCA, will have to wait next season...Unless I get to go after caribous later in november...
Can't wait to get my arrows!!
Cheers
They're in the works David. I'll have them out to you next week.
Love to see a Yukon pic with one of my arrows! If I can't get up there to hunt with them, next best is having them up there hunting! haha
You Come when ever you want!! We could do a moose hunting trip...
Now you're talking!
