Title: Stewart Slammer TD and Limb Interchangability
Post by: Steelhead on September 29, 2011, 12:56:00 AM
I was curious if anyone knows if you can swap limbs out from one Stewart Slammer riser to another.Or if you have to have limbs custom made to fit your particular riser.

Are the limbs also interchnagable from the different length risers offered from 14' to 18 inches. For instance if you have a 16 inch riser will those limbs also fit the 14 and 18 inch long risers

Thanks for any input in advance!!!

I think he uses the same jig for all 3pc TDs. Best to call him.

Eric give him a shout on effect of different riser length in terms of what is doable. Call him and if he does not answer leave a message and he will return. He does not always check his e-mail. tom

You can switch.  I have a 66" Slammer (16" riser).  I purchased a 14" riser from Leon and put the limbs from my 66" Slammer on the it. Perfect fit, increased the poundage about 2.5 lbs., ended up with a 64" bow.  Leon told me that the 14" riser would make the limbs perform better, which it did. A quick and sweet shooting bow.
