They're not necessarily all that talented...probably a bunch of script kiddies.
Just like vandals. Some people just get off on destroying the work of others.
The same people who targeted the TW site must have targeted an Australian bowhunting site as well because it's been down for three days. This morning, the Australian site is back up, but with new phpBB software and I think we have to re-register. :(
Could you explain why it is down indefinately? I have built several websites and can't imagine that you can't rebound from this. Keeping sites protected can take a lot of work. My hosting company recommends changing lengthy, complicated passwords daily as well as backups daily in order to guard against attacks. If there was something I can help with, barter is a great system. Shoot me a pm with what you are specifically needing.
I just went to your url and it appears the site is functional but the plugging of bands and movies is obviously a hack. If you think the site poses a risk to visitors, please pull your site down until you are sure it is safe.
I thought something was up kenny the other day when I was looking at the site, trying to get my fix till roman is done with my wildcat! Supposed to head his way first of next week for a limb check and possible fitting, I am super excited! Guys, this could not happen to a better bunch of people, roman and kenny are top notch and anyone who thinks they can help them please do so. You could not ask for better people to be associated with. Hope you get it straightened out kenny!
