Whats hog taste like compared to pork????
Is it just gamier???
Did You use a pre-made Braut kit or did You use a home recipe?
Looks very good on the plate by the way.
Nice
I used a pre made German season I got at sportsman warehouse.
USN, compared to pork the taste is the same, no game taste at all. it just leaner, it makes the sausage drier than farm pork. I should of added some pork fat to it to make them more juicy. But they are plenty good, some kraut on them would help with moistness.
It was a boar hog, but no game taste. The acorns here have just started and I think if it was later this fall he may of had some game taste. The acorns seem to make the game taste. And I cut my own up and keep them clean, I don't trust the butcher shops, some of them are NASTY!.
Rob, that Fat Tire is hard to beat!
Yum! :bigsmyl:
Looks like a great dinner, brauts and beer.
 Dang! That looks like good eats!
