I used to always hunt with a camo short brimmed bucket hat but they seem to be out of style now. I am looking to get one in a camo pattern. If any of you guys know where to find them it would be great. Thanks.
3 Rivers has one called The Rogue. It's fleece. If that's what a bucket hat is... :dunno:
Scent Blocker use to make a great leafy Boonie that is great. I have 3 of them that I rotate through every week of the season.
There is an online place called e4hats that usually has them in stock. That's where I got mine for 10 bucks.
Grey Wolf Woolens has them and they are a sponsor here. Also, Day One Camouflage sells them in many camo patterns and fabrics. Good quality if not a touch pricey. Worth it IMO.
This is TG not GQ, we are always going to be out of style with the masses.I like a good worn out boonie cover myself.
Thanks for the help so far to all I just cant see spending $40 on a hat.
i get my boonies at the local army surplus.. 12 bucks
Got a new one at Wal-Mart, about $10.00.
One of my local swapmeets has a vendor that's got cheap ones. I'm fine with cheap hats, it's not like buying power tools.

Check out this site. I bought one of these several years ago for less than $20.

Check out the ones in predator camo, they are close to what you are looking for. They say Boonie hat but the brim is only about 1 5/8" wide. St. Joe river bows has them.
Good luck,
Ben

In my experience the boonie is a little different than the bucket. I do use both tend to like buckets a little better. The buckets I use most were made by Day One.
A boonie hat is different from a bucket hat. Much shorter brim on a bucket.
I like boonie hats....but! The old style bucket had a short brim which I really like, sooooo..... I took a pair of shears and cut the brim on a boonie hat down to where it is now like a bucket hat. Works perfect  !!!
