My 4H kids, I volunteer coach, went to the state championships this past Saturday. Ten kids came home with 17 trophies, team and Individual. I havent got all the scoop, but I believe they won 2 different age Team Recuve, events, and 1st and 2nd Individual in one age group, and one youth won 1st place, high score individual with a recurve! Tey did well in compound and genesis, but this is 3 years in a row, they have did real well in recurve/longbow class. I am so proud of them. You guys that donated old risers, that were broke, helped to make this happen. I have retrofitted limbs, made strings, so they all had enough bows to take home and not just practice once a week, develop muscle memory. Some of these bows were ugly, but shooters anyway. Thanks for the help all, for helping me help the kids. A great bunch of folks, hang out here.
VERY COOL!
