Title: NewYork Any rubs yet?????

Been doing some scouting but no rubs yet,anybody have any yet?I know its kind of early but some years they are there.

If you find any they say it comes from the biggest bucks early in the season.Im going scouting in the morning so ill get back to you on that.Ive heard from guys that they are seeing bucks rub on branches.Good Luck

Havent done much scouting yet. But I do know the leaves are starting to change around here. Its beautiful!

Have not seen any rubs yet, but saw a 6pt & a nice 8pt yesterday for opener of bear. Both were clean so did their business somewhere.

Tons of rubs in my area, I have counted a 100 plus on a few properties. I also have seen a bunch of scrapes as well, which is unusual(The scrapes not the rubs, always find rubs starting in late august). Counted nine in a row, one about every 30 yards on one field edge. Shawn

A few in my area, but I'm still seeing alot of smaller bucks that are still in velvet.

Big fellas are tearing some areas up and also laying down a few scrapes.  Joe
