Men - I have looked everywhere..almost, here on this sight for thoughts on quivers with Schafer Silvertips. Did not find where a Silvertip owner ever chimed in on where you mount your quiver...fadeouts....riser, or the kind you own. I just put my old Thunderhorn on the fadeouts of the Silvertip I have owned for 5 days and all appears ...er shoots Grrrreat.Just wanted some thoughts and or pic's. Going to church in about an hour then filling the pickup with gear and the Silvertip heading out for 5 days after Mule Deer and Elk
I mount my BW quiver (which is a Thunderhorn) as close to the riser as i can on my Schafer. It "stretches" alot, but works fine. Good luck on your hunt, stay safe and shoot straight.
I do prefer the Selway rawhide slide-on for all my bows, and I just put them onto the fade-outs. On my Silvertip, from memory it was also touching the riser at both ends.
The EFA rides on my Tip.Right where the riser ends you run the straps around and it performs flawlessly.I had been shooting with 4 arrows in the quiver and noticed some noise.Pulled the arrows out and noticed the fld.pts were looose.twisted em up tight and all was perfect.
I put a Selway on mine also.
