I know this has been covered before but it has been awhile. I just made this jig with the help of Badlands. I'm very happy with the results and thought I'd share. This is so easy I can't believe I didn't do this before.
Bandsaw jig- clamp the block and cut. There is 2 holes for 2 different radius'. Top plate pivots on the bolt.

I have 2 guides on the bottem of the jig. One sits in the groove on the table and one lines up on the edge of the table so I get exact placement of the jig on the table everytime. This way if I want to come back and make another cut down the road it wall match up with previous cuts made in riser blocks.

I cut the long radius first then the smaller one. I can move the block right or left on the jig to create whatever type of flair I want when I cut the 2nd smaller radius. Here I moved the block over about 3/4" to give me a bigger flair on the bottem. Mixing and matching wood if the fun part.

Here is the finished results.

Bow only has one coat of Thunderbird here.

On a side note I picked up some nice wood for vaneers from a flooring store for dirt cheap. This was some left over Aulstralian Cypress from a job They practically gave it to me. It looks like figured yew to me. I also got some figured maple. Don't over look flooring stores for a source of bow wood.

Excellent, thanks for sharing. Bue--.
Couple more things. I use a 3/8" blade that is sharp and 6 tpi. I tighten the blade a little extra tight so it doesn't wander. Makes a smooth cut, no sanding required.
I have to move the guide bearings up out of the way so the clamps don't hit. I still didn't have a problem with the blade wandering. Chad
Looks excellent Chad!! Have any trouble with the curves tryin to slither around?
They wanted to slide all over the place when I glued up the riser. My wife helped but it was still frustrating (We tried not to swear at each other, at least not the real bad words).
If it slides a little one direction or another it is no big deal since the radius is the same throughout the cut. You should still get a good glue joint. Chad
