As soon as Bill gets back from his hunt I'm placing my order for an SXT with recurve limbs. I like to see some pics of your Zipper risers to help me with my wood combo choice. Thanks
I will get pics of mine up soon....you will not be sorry with your recurve limbs. Bills design with carbon foam are incredible shooters/performers!!
Oh yeah, I'm looking forward to this one.

Oh my! I have talked to Bill and he is a great guy. His bows are beautiful.
If I ever switch from a Long Bow to a Recurve, I'm looking him up first.
Martin
Bill, Great looking Zippers you've got there.
My bow is up for build as soon as Bill and Tracey get back from hunt.Extreme riser,Maccassor Ebony and figured Zebrawood with antler overlays. Longbow limbs carbon foam with antler tips, Ebony belly. 60" 51#@26". Can't wait for the Zipper experiance.
Gary, I was thinking along similar lines. Macassar Ebony and Bocote with recurve limbs, foam & carbon, with either bocote or skinned limbs 60" 53#@28".
Whatever you do Fred don't pick Wenge unless you want to see a grown man cry. I'd post picts of mine but you've seen it. Come on guys post those Zippers for a brother.
Tom, Don't think the thought hasn't crossed my mind after seeing yours.
Here is the only picture I have of mine on my work computer. I have no idea what the wood combo is, but I do know that it is one sweet shooting bow.

I know if I ever got a Zipper it would have to be the LH twin to Tom's!!! I was showing the pics of it to a guy at work today!!! Absolutely awesome!!
I don't have a pic but there was one on Bill's site of my ILF riser. Shedua and cocobolo just so nice. The cocobolo is almost orange, I have never seen anything like it!
Rusty, The more I look at pics of Tom's bow the more I think Bill is gonna need a crying towel. :biglaugh:

The bow we may be able to deal on....but the pooch? Well I don't have to tell you :saywhat:
Guys, Those are some beautiful Zippers. Sure makes it hard to decide on a wood combo.
Jake, What limbs are on your bow?
Izzy, the specs on the bow are: 60" 45#@28 prototype #0001. Only a handful out there, a real beauty.

Fred
Those are Bills standard longbow limbs I believe 50@28 on and SXT riser carbon/foam.
Jake;
That sure is a pretty limb and riser combo it sure looks shorter than most ;)
Jamie
Sorry, I'm a button-fly guy. :bigsmyl:

Beautiful bows indeed:)
How fast are they compared to other top bowyers and most important how do they accept long drawlengths?

It has been my experience that Bills carbon foam evo recurve limbs are as fast or faster than any bow I have shot...period. I have shot many of the high end custom bows and have not found one faster than the limbs I just mentioned. The longbow limbs don't seem as quick as the evo's but they flat spit an arrow as well.
My 58" limbs felt smooth clear out to 29 and would imagine they would work great to 30 but that is only a question Bill Dunn could answer.
Here is my Zipper SXT with Recurve Limbs, I also Have Longbow limbs for it, but I do not have any pics right now (//%5Burl=http://imgur.com/XFyCg%5D%20%5Bimg%5Dhttp://i.imgur.com/XFyCg.jpg) [/IMG] (//%5Burl=http://imgur.com/vYT68%5D%20%5Bimg%5Dhttp://i.imgur.com/vYT68.jpg) [/IMG] (//%5Burl=http://imgur.com/nbA97%5D%20%5Bimg%5Dhttp://i.imgur.com/nbA97.jpg) [/IMG] (//%5Burl=http://imgur.com/tBRLs%5D%20%5Bimg%5Dhttp://i.imgur.com/tBRLs.jpg) [/IMG] (//%5Burl=http://imgur.com/vnF2b%5D%20%5Bimg%5Dhttp://i.imgur.com/vnF2b.jpg) [/IMG]
A classy Bob Thompson, my 1st traditional bow on its 1st hunt. (http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o244/2crazyboys_photos/IMG_0709-1.jpg)
Here's a pic of mine before it left's Bil's shop. The osage had darkened up quite a bit and the tulipwood is more red. I actually like it better the more it ages. I'll have to snap a few of it now and post em.
