Title: Quiver makers question
Post by: longshadow on January 13, 2007, 05:17:00 PM
I've made a few backquiver, but can't get the strap in the right location. My quivers either ride too low on my back or slide to far to the side. Where do you guys attach the strap to the quiver so it rides right...
  Thanks, Al

Al thats probably the biggest problem with back quivers. I've made 9 so far and the only way I can make them ride right is to install an auxilliary strap that comes across my chest from the other side and meets at a ring that is attached to the main strap in the middle of my chest. Take a look at the back quivers on Black Widows site or some old pictures of Ben Pearson.
Any way you do it there is still much better ways to carry your arrows. They look great on the wall storing all  the arrows I make!!!!!

This is a quiver Shell made for me.  It stays exactly where you put it on your back.  I've made a couple with this strap design too.  It works extremely well.
