So I know the picture is kind of hard to see but this wasn't my best grouping of the night. And that makes me smile like CRAZY!
Yeah it's only 11 feet but I'm in city limits so I shoot in my basement. I'm restricted by height (rafters) but used the bend at the waist technique to adjust just enough to make sure my top limb didn't bounce off the rafters. Success. Back straight, shoulders tight, anchor, and release. HEART HEART HEART! Sorry, just excited.
I shoot split and haven't experimented with 3 under, with this type of grouping, even at minimal yardage, should I bother experimenting or just stick with it?
P.S That's five arrows, look close to see the 3 that are grouped really tightly. :)
Good shooting!!! Stick with what works for you.
I would stick with the split finger as shooting 3 under requires you to judge yardage.
Why do you say 3 under requires you to judge yardage?
Accuracy and great form go hand in hand. Good shooting.
I agree stick with what works for you.
I think ALWAYS experiment. You never know when a new technique may take you to a new level. There is always room for improvement, why not try?
Personally I think,if you are going to hunt this year, that I wouldn't be changing anything. Only being able to shoot at close range really helps with form and that's everything when it comes to accuracy.
Good shooting and good luck this year.
Yeah, if hunting like Charlie says, good to wait till season is over to experiment.
Thank you all for the great input!

Ditto!
It's cool you practice shots that close because you are forced to. If given the opportunity on an animal that close I wouldn't have a clue. You're one up on me.
What Charlie said!!! I would only add that you need to be consistent with your form.
