whats everyones thoughts on the ace 2 blades? i need to get some hunting points for my arrows and these seem to be affordable. also wheres the best place to find them 3 rivers seem to be out of stock
thanks,
steven
Time proof BH,you can't go wrong with them. If I were'nt full equiped with eclipse I would give them a try. :)
The 160 grain STD is my go to BH.. I try others and keep returning to what works..
Thoroughly bomb-proof broadheads.
In my opinion, one of the best, if not THE best 2 blade head on the market.
Cheap, easy to sharpen, good size for the weight & time tested (they've been around since God was boy)
If I could only shoot one 2-bladed head, it'd be these.
Contact Ace Broadheads. Google them and you will get their website which has their phone number on it. They seem to always have them in stock. 3 River being out of stock is a great example to how good of a head they are. Tons of guys shoot them, and I'm one. I also love their "Hex Head" blunt.
Like they said, internet search Ace archery, and bookmark. Bob is a great guy and sales great products. I have used Ace for long time and had nothing but great results, and love the Hex heads.
Here ya go.

Great guy to do business with and if i have used them on a bunch of game with fantastic results . They sharpen easy , are TOUGH!, an the service is second to none .
When I run out of Ribteks , its likely it'll be 160gn ACE b'heads on the end of my arrows .

Everything those fellas said. You won't find nicer folks to buy from, and they make a bombproof broadhead. I use the 160 gr standard with an aluminum insert for a total arrow weight of 210 gr.
You'll be hard pressed to find a better 2 blade head.

I have used ACE heads with much success.
For the "sharpening challenged" like myself they are very easy to get sharp.
Just got 6 200gr heads in the mail from 3R. Now I'm waiting on my custom woodies from Magnus. No rush though, they are for Ray's in March. :)
Thought well of the old ones. Had occasion to try the new & they're just a good. Good quality & sharp descriptions above. Heard someone say it's like shooting an arrow w/an axe blade. 160gr are my standard now.
I think they are a very good head that you can not go wrong with.
My favorite head the 160 Standard but this year my "Moose" arrows are sporting the 200 grain Ace Super Express.
Great bH and my go to. Try the Nocking Point to get them. Mike is a great guy to work with and he had some last I checked (yesterday)
Love the 160's....tough as they get!
I use the 200 grainer to good effect.
There are many good 2 blade broadheads out there. The Ace is one of the best. The price is one of the best out there too. I can take a 6 inch file and a piece of cardboard and make my arm bare. They also have a great selection as far as weights. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed in them.
No secret that I am an ACE shooter. My choice is the big express at 165gn. I like it for the straight edge, the standard has the convex edge but it has the triple layer tip that is hard to beat for tuffness. All of the ACE heads are top quality. Bob and Jan are number one to deal with.
get some, you will be happy.

I also use the Ace 165. It sharpens quickly, stays sharp and is quite tough. Try them and you won't be disappointed.
Best 2 blade available, IMHO. That picture Ron posted was a doe I shot in his camp, it was remarkable enough for a picure because of the hatchet-like wound and the blood trail. WAAAY easy to sharpen, also.
