Real happy Hill shooter but my Georgia cousin Steve hyped me into this Schulz after he was so pleased with his. Came Saturday. I'm pleased big after initial adjustments (fistmele & nock point) had me shooting dead nuts. Not much different than my Hills but sure easy on the eyes & history connect w/one of my alltime heroes Mr Schulz. 68" ntn & scaled 75#@28" clean as a whistle. Bought it from "sorefingers" Frank Dohman. LSS, he's plenty straight arrow!
What do you guys think?

Nice bow.
Wow, sweet bow man! I love th edark riser and lighter core woods, Bamboo?
Not much prettier than a D bow at full draw. SCHWEET!!
Bob.
My Schulz Hunter and especially my Schulz Legend have been my common denominator for how I rate a bow for 35 years. I doubt you will ever find a better bow, so you better get used it being around.
Awesome bow, Buddy.
Awesome Buddy. You know who to contact if you ever get tired of shooting that bow, right?
Thanks men. A blessing for sure Pavan. I assume it's bamboo Bob just like many Hills. Shoots like it & very hard hitting. Couldn't think of a better hunt than w/Okie frum Muskogee Pat & Onleave Steve in Georgia. Cold dead fingers Steve. JV, she's something else & I've shot Hill lb's only 35 straight years. Appreciate the favorable comments.
Piece of collection :) !
As far as I'm concerned John's bows are the standard by which all longbows are judged.... you just don't find better craftsmanship!
I'me got a Howard Hill Big Five from the era that John was bowyer there... 70", 75@28", brown glass over bamboo with bubinga riser.
I also have a Shulz Trophy Hunter, brown glass over bamboo with Myrtle riser, 110 @ 28"
Awesome, I'm glad you are the one who snagged it before I could. Have fun!
very nice
I must admit - I'm envious.
Great bow!!!!
Buddy ... Jealous mate ! Mr Schulz is perhaps my favourite bowyer and I love his writings too. "Straight Shooting" is one of my favorite books .
Awesome bow , happy for you.
Thanks again all you good folks. Charlie, 2 world class bows there. Appreciate your comments. Same Ben as I know you're a Hill guy like me. My hat is getting tight. Couldn't think better to share w/than TG.
Sweet looking bow Buddy!
I'd say you dun good hoss!
God bless,Mudd
That my friend is a Beautiful "True" L/B !! Good Luck with it !!
John , he is the man, for longbows, and that sir is a dandy!! Marco :)
Thanks Marco & Adam. Muddster, you should be a lb afficionado by now. Your last is a pure beaut! Miller right?
Yes sir Buddy! "Old Tom" 66" and 52@28.
I have to give you a lot of the credit for getting me over to the American longbow.
It was our phone conversations that your enthusiasm poured out that started the ember smoldering.
I was shooting a bunch of heavy R/D bows back then and very light weights(high 30's to low 40's)
Now look at me...lol most of my bows are in the 56-58 pound range and they are all Hills or Hill style.(save for the few oldies recurves and a couple of horse bows, all just for fun)
My serious hunting bows are longbows.
God bless,Mudd
Definitely on the team Mudd. Your great & welcome company. Told Steve to get in touch w/you. Maybe he will re this post.
Looks great, Buddy! Do you have some up-close pictures?
Love the bend in those limbs!!! Congrats on the new bow - enjoy!
Jeff
Here you go Ben. Take some more if you want. Proud of my new bow; but, I take good pix like a flashlight w/batteries missing.
