Title: Quiver options for ILF
Post by: kenn1320 on September 11, 2011, 11:30:00 PM
I'm still quiver less on my 19" Morrison metal riser. Can you shoot the quivers that connect to the limb bolts like a typical take down bow? Being this long of a riser, the strap on models for long bows don't work. What are you guys that shoot metal morrison risers using for a bow mounted quiver? Pics would be great!

I don't think using a limb bolt quiver on an ILF would work very good.I would use a quiver on the bow.I had an Alpine soft lock quiver on a Dalaa I had, nice quiver for a metal riser bow.

I don't own any ILF rigs, but my Slim Jim has limb bolt mounts and is quite adjustable. Are you anywhere near GR? I'd bring it and the wrenches if you wanted to meet up at a nearby range and see if it would fit.

Yes Im using a shorty plunger(berger button), which is the reason I'm having a problem. Problem might be the mounting holes for the quiver are to close to the plunger, not allowing for a "slide" into position type quiver. Morrison suggested drilling new holes, but the last thing I want is a swiss cheese riser.

I used a Kanati Pro angle strap on, when I had a DAS Dalaa.  Worked real nice.... had the Quick Deployment straps and you could unscrew the quiver off without taking off the straps. =)  Wish I still had that rig.
